you replied to one of my posts earlier this year (february) regarding inlaw-income properties.

We are looking at bungalows specifically because of their large basements.. looks like queenswood heights in orleans.

In all honesty, I'm scared. I don't want to buy a property, start ripping down walls, finding problems and running out of money.. at the same time I'm excited because I believe it's a good opportunity for us in the future, in the meantime my mom would live down there but in the future, it should be good rental potential. You see so many shows on TV about all the sneaky and untrusty workmanship, I think that's what scares me the most.

So, were you happy with your results? I would love to hear your story, who you used, your mistakes/surprises.. anything..
