Hi again! I just remembered another change you may consider that we love is the terrace doors instead of patio doors out of the kitchen. Tamarack may not suggest it and you'll hit your forehead when you see a neighbour's house with them. They look great! they get the same paint colour as your front door- also consider that.
Hi! I partly replied to your message via your hotmail address but forgot to talk about other structural changes we have on the house. First, congratulations on your purchase! It'S a gorgeous home, I love it.
So other then having closed the open-to-downstair option to enlarge the bedroom, we also got the following few changes:
Plumbing ready for bathroom in the basement;
Fireplace moved to between the two large windows in great room;
Gaz line outside for the BBQ and indoor for the cooking range; and
Closed the stairway going to the basement with a door.
