Damage on vinyl siding, soffit and windows capping

Hi,

The siding installer did a good job all around the house. But it seems that a unsupervised rookie took over to finish the front porch part:

PDI is coming soon and wanted to know if some people reported such things and what was the conclusion.

Normally I would let go if it is minor but it is all over the place. He even installed the wrong vinyl outside corner color (lighter one) at one of the porch corner!!

You most certainly should report this, and the pdi is the time. Otherwise they could claim it happened after possession.

I had a few pieces that were scratched and one piece that was pulling away. I reported them and they were all fixed by the builder without issue.

Anything damaged like that needs to be reported and noted during the PDI. You are covered.
