GTA Housing Locations

Hi,

I'm a first-time buyer considering buying very soon and looking at buying in Ajax, but few people I've talked mentioned I should look into Aurora and Stouffville and Brampton. But I know those are more expensive, but I'm willing to settle in smaller house if its makes better sense.

I haven't been able to find much resources online that compare the locations. I'm wondering what you guys think.

Thanks
Dave

Brampton is on the opposite side of the GTA compared to those.. Why the big difference?

I know I'm all over the map here. These are the regions that seem to be affordable for me. I've seen a house I like in Brampton and really like the one in Ajax. Just wondering there are huge differences in resale value between Ajax/Brampton/Stouffville.

Wouldn't it make more sense to live closer to where you work? The GTA commute is horrible. Trust me.

If you have Aurora on the list you might as well put Newmarket on that list as well. If you commuting to the city via the Highway (either 404 or 400) it only adds 5 min to the drive.
