Help in identifying proper C wire connection

2 Attachment(s)
Hello all,

I would appreciate some help in identifying the proper connection of a C wire to my HVAC. I am attaching a picture of the HVAC board. As you can see, there is a blue unattached wire (sticking up like an antenna) which I assume can be used for the C connection. On the board, There are six terminals which I can identify: W, Y, G, Rc, Y, C. The last two (Y, C) are grouped as "AC Relay". As you can see from the image, The C terminal already has 3 wires attached to it. Can I connect the blue wire to this also, and connect the other end to my wifi thermostat? I have attached a picture of my thermostat wiring also. I cant see the blue wire yet, I am assuming it's tucked behind the wall plate. I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Yes. You should be fine with that. C is used for a number of things. You may have a humidifier on there too.

Thanks Greg. Would you recommend stripping the blue wire and adding it to the three wires already in there, or using some wire nuts to clean up the connections?

If you can crimp a terminal connector on the end of it like the others that would be good. I'm not used to having those on there, usually it's just bare wire that we end up twisting together with pliers, trimming the end and then coiling around the screw and tightening.
