New driveway!!!

How long after they pave the driveway can we start parking our cars??
I don't want to leave big tire marks on it.

I think about 5 days. Even after that, make sure you don't leave the car parked in the same position more than a day or two, and don't turn the wheels if the car isn't moving.

We got a notice that said to wait 3-4 days until you park on it again...

Even after a year, the driveway may still be prone to being marked up. :(

Landscapers from Hydro One left tire tracks in mine earlier this spring and the green bin has left an outline of where it sat for most of the summer. My neighbour kept their BBQ out in front and the wheels have dug into their driveway.

Don't forget kickstands on bikes, esp motorcycles! Those will almost always dig in ;)

yeah, we finally got driveways! We also got a tree as well... does anybody know if new trees are like new grass? Do we have to water the tree quite often when they first get planted?

The builder is responsible for the trees for 2 years. Then the city takes over. This is what the city has told me.
