I was able to drill it out and now enroute to HD. Hopefully, i can find a nut and bolt combo rather than a rivet so it'll be easier to fix...

I brought the broken door to a hardware store and service guy confirmed that it is a rivet and that I'll just have to drill it out so I will. Hope I don't break the plastic arm.
