highly recommend removing the wood as well. we had a diff model with tamarack, but replaced the cedar shingles with siding. looks great. No maintenance. and no charge from tamarck.

we had the same problem with tamarack 3 years ago. we noticed it the same day it was done and they fixed it within a few days. I wish i could say it's as good as if they had done it right the first...
