It went great! It was alot less formal than I thought it would be... we didn't wear hard hats and it seemed rushed (i think we were there 30 mins with the guy), but it was so great to be inside the house. my fiancée took about 100 pictures. also, we wanted to go look around by ourselves afterwards and the guy told us to go ahead, but to be careful. we thought that was nice... it was weird being in there while the guys were bricking the outside, tho. we spent another 20-30 minutes taking pictures.

Changes to be made: location of 2 electrical outlets (behind our pantry currently), shower door enclosure (they thought we got a glass wall), removal of knee wall upstairs, moving data outlet to living room.

Apparently the city inspector is coming today to check out the framing...then they make our changes, and start drywall'ing. if we drive by in 2 weeks, our drywall will be complete, apparently.

How's your house looking, Brentstone? have they started drywalling yet? is the siding complete on the outside?

Yeah we saw that yesterday! They are supposed to finish up today.

Also, we have a pretty clear view of your house from our living room/kitchen/bedroom

I remember when I was waiting for my appointment in the office they were making appointments for more lots around me for framewalks the following day.
It could be that they forgot, hopefully that is not the case.
But maybe they just need a friendly reminder.

I contacted my Customer Care Coordinator and she said that I should recieve a call in the next week or so for my framewalk. So it seems I wasn't forgotten.

Hey Mike,
I didn't make it out this weekend. I probably wont go out for another 2 weeks or so. Im going to email my builder and try to set something up for sometime in December. During the framewalk he had mentioned that I could email him for an update or to try and arrange a time to go and see the progress.

Did your builder change as well? We started off with "J" and then it changed to "T"...

Any other updates? Water_Park: how's the packing going?

We did finally start packing. We've been procrastinating to avoid getting too excited about the new house. We do still have 3 weeks to go. The last few weeks have started to feel longer than the whole process. So close yet so far.

Our house is looking great, we were in on the weekend again. Our kitchen is now completed and so are all the bathrooms. All outlets and switches were installed. Very little left to do. A tiny bit of exterior work, light fixtures, door handles, mirrors and carpet. That's it! Come on house we're ready!
