everything we bought was pretty much the same as listed before

we did end up though getting a samsung stove, ended up saving over 1K.

we also got a panasonic microwave and an upright freezer (manual defrost)

everything we got was about 8500 taxes and delivery in.

so i think we got a pretty good deal.

I liked the look of the electrolux and the ge cafe, but in the ended wasn't willing to shell out the extra 1K for looks alone. The samsung did everything the other two did and actually matches our fridge perfectly.

all in all we're really happy with what we chose and tasco's service so far.

Something else i was surpised to find out was tasco offers a warranty you can buy up to 10 months after purchase, depending on how thing go in the first year, you may want to buy additional warranty for 4 more years, same cost to buy after 10 months as it is to buy the day you sign the paper work. So i thought that was a pretty good value added service.

@Homesboughtahome - When you start using your appliances can you give us your personal reviews?

I am moving into my new home in July 2011, and I'm starting to do some research now but quite frankly, I'm so confused. When I bought my last home appliances were pretty simple. Now the appliances can walk and talk!

Well, i move in less than 10 days now, so sure. I'll post something a little while after, tell you how I like the appliances I bought.

what's scary is you aren't too far off with the walking and talking comment, lol

So, i've had my appliances for about a week now and.....I LOVE THEM, lol

The coolest thing is the fridge.

When the delivery guys came, everything got brought in nice and easy except for the fridge. They took it apart before bringing it in the door.

Needless to say I was a little surprised, but they put everything back together again no problem.

Since we've had them everything has worked great, love the look of the stainless steel(going to be hard to keep clean though with a 1.5 year old touching literally EVERYTHING and leaving finger prints and mouth prints)

I'm really happy with all my selections.

Hope this helps.

Let me know if you want to know anything specific.

Any advice or experience you may have with any of these brands is greatly appreciated.

I'm in the market for a 25cu french door stainless fridge, Free standing glass top range (I want gas, wife doesn't, guess who wins), i think we're set on a Bosch dishwasher (based on reviews).

washer dryer i think we're going with Whirlpool Duet, not sure on model.

again, any advice, experiences is appreciated.

thanks
whatever you do get the extended warranty, the whirpool duet you mention above I have replaced 3 times in 3 years, LG 25 CU S/S with bottom mount freezer, just replaced the main board, all under three years old all under extended warranty.
