Default Best hardwood floor prices per sq ft??

What is the best price you have come across for hardwood floor, per square ft from any retailer out there, especially bamboo? Am not talking HD, as there prices are usually over $4 per sq ft

I don't know about Bamboo but I'm pricing Oak and Maple and its anywhere from 6.50 to 6.75 a sq/ft plus 1.50 to 1.75 sq/ft installation. I would say budget approx 8 or 9.00 sq/ft.

where did you get those installation prices from? Bamboo is meant to be cheaper than the ones you mentioned, and it's more durable and environmental friendly. HD has them for 4.50 per sq ft

I just purchased 4 1/4 inch Maple hardwood floors for $3.99 sq/ft at Milton Hardwood Flooring. They have very reasonable prices.

I was quoted as high as 2.50 sq/ft installation. Depending on the amount you're buying you can bring them down in price.

What is HD selling for 4.50 sq/ft? is it 3/4" solid hardwood? Who is the manufacturer?

I've seen what HD sells in hardwood and the good quality hardwood is always more expensive. The ones they stack in piles on the floor is usually the bargain hardwood. I've seen it for 8.99 sq/ft just the material at HD. You do get what you pay for. If most major hardwood manufactures sell Maple for 6-7 sq/ft (ie Mirage, Satin Finish, Vintage) and you find it for 4.00 sq/ft, I'd be sceptical on the quality.
