Default Builder warranty voids

hey guys, first time buying a new home. I wanted to know what i can/cant do when i get possession of the house. I haven't done alot of the upgrades through the builder due to the price ofcourse, ie: potlights. but i also wanted to finish some portions of my basement. will adding potlights or light fixtures void any warranty?

Also what other warranties are there?

It would void the warranty on the item you touch.
Meaning, adding pot lights does not void your electrical warranty. It would void whatever box/wire that you pulled off of and any future problems you have that relate to that particular point would not be covered.
