Default Geo-Thermal/In Floor Heat

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to start this thread, the property we're looking on building on is relatively wet. So we're looking at building slab on grade, with in floor heat. There also is NOT gas currently available (we could get it there for about 15K).

With the high local water table though, I'm wondering about going geo-thermal, the cleared area we're building on is about 300' x 300' so lots of space to go shallow and be in 'wet' dirt for higher thermal efficiency with geo-thermal.

Any thoughts on this?
