That's positive. Do you live in an urbandale home?

The sales agent recommended we not physically go in, mostly due to nails, potential dangers, etc. However, if it's just framing, it's easy enough to look from the outside.

Congrats! and welcome to Cowan's Grove.

Are you allowed to visit the site as often as you can? I understood that there's one frame walk through that is done and nothing else. I am assuming you can request to visit the site from the sale centre?

Riverside South - not Cowan's Grove!

I was told you can request site visits from the Sales Centre (but they suggest you don't ask for approved visits every day/week - you don't want to piss off the workers), and you can visit as often as you want - but they do not recommend you go inside because of potential damages - either to the property, or yourself.

Yep, we moved into an Urbandale single in May.

We requested a few site visits but sadly we were turned down a few times.

I believe theyre required to say you shouldn't visit it due to liability issues

She gave me a bit of a wink wink nudge nudge with that comment.

we're in RSS phase 8

honestly, as long as you're not bugging any of the trades, no one is gonna bother you or kick you out. I was at my house every day they were building it and never had any bother me before

Thad good to hear.

If you don't mind my asking, what did you do with the hot water heater? Did you take the enercare rental? How much is it per month?

We decided to keep the rental for a year, too much hassle and headache dealing with Enercare. We will probably buy it out in a year.

Also, cost is $42.99/month

Well, that's certainly cheaper than cricket charges. Do you know the buyout in a year?

Tbh I'm considering doing something similar...it's just not worth the headache to deal with this crap, especially in it means fighting Urbandale.

Only problem with Urbandale is their after care service is TERRIBLE, even their site foreman and other employees complain how bad they are. If you have small little issues, then no problem but if a bigger issue comes up plan for tons of hurdles and fighting for a long time for anything to hopefully get done, as no matter what they say no. I can provide dozens of examples if need be.
