Hi, yes we bought into Phase 2. Not a pleasant experience once they get your money. Wish I did not.

Hi, I bought with Zancor in King City. Can you explain what your experience with them was like?

Hi CEO. Did you buy a Town or detached? Phase 1 or 2? Just curious what your issues have been with them so far, so I can watch out for this kind of stuff. My only issus is that we were pressured to finalize out structural within a day. Its very hard to make decisions costing you tens of thousands in a few days.... They literally give you 2mins to decide... We have not gone for colour selection yet.

Non existent customer service. They screw you anyway they can. Expected to overpay in price but they also have very poor service and often find loop holes to screw you again. Get everything in writing and double check everything before you sign.

Default Zancor - treatment to customers

Carlisle and Ninelives, ZANCOR should not be able to get away with this treatment. Let us discuss further in person or private email (not discuss over a blog). We do have rights to fight back and should be a group effort

So far we have been very pleased with Zancor, but only bought 4 weeks ago in Phase 2. A little issue from the begining with a lot of verbal committments and wouldn't put in writing but now everything is in writing and waiting to do structural and colours. We are currently in Cachet on the west side of the ravine and was very happy with this builder as well. Quality is much better than the other in the neighborhood based on neighbor's complaints.

Should've found this earlier, could have got in on the referal program.

Moving onto our 4th house in 10 years, each of them being a 5 year plan This new house is our 10 year plan

We were delayed and didn't find staff too helpful. Items we requested were never communicated back until it was much too late. Asked about some discounts on items (not freebies) only to be rejected and turns out many of my neighbors received free upgrades and items thrown in.

Talking to their outsourced peop's on technology for the house and they appeared a little lost. Therefore we didn't bother purchasing much on the techy side and will do everything after we move in. Cat5e is the best currently to install......ummm seriously?

Build quality is very good, so if you can do things on your own and not rely on any of the staff you will be all good.

We built in this community as well. Communication with staff was horible. You can never get a straight answer - from the sales staff to head office - there was excuse after excuse in regards to why things were done the way that they were. Don't take their answer or explaination as the way that it has to be - check with building code and the Town of Whitby - you'd be surprised at what they try to get away with.

The build quality is better than our last builder, but the trades whip through the work, some not interested in attention to details. Your build quality will depend on the crew that you get for a particular job/trade - some are good and some are completly horrible and should not be doing the work that they do. The crew that you get will determine the amount of issues that you have later when filling out your Tarion reports.
