I heard Harmony just released their next pricing so, of course, I had to wander over to their website to check it out. The only pricing listed is for the big houses on premium lots; I don't know if those are the only lots up for sale or if others will be released too. Anyways, here the pricing changes for anybody who geeks out on this stuff like I do!!

Oct 2017 prices first, then Jan 2018 pricing (I'm not entirely sure if these new prices include the premium lot or not, it says "pricing may apply on select lots"):

Champlain, 2514sq ft, $571,900......now $633,900
Drake, 2675sq ft, $579,900......now $641,900
Frontenac, 2707sq ft, $589,900.....now $651,900
Mackenzie, 2998sq ft, $593,900....now $655,900
Marquette, 3232sq ft, $613,900.....now $675,900
Okanagan, 3320sq ft, $616,900.....now $678,900

I don't think those are new because those prices were available last week. If they follow their usual pattern, the prices should be up Thursday evening or Friday morning - I suspect another $15-$20k bump but let's see!

This is very interesting, and good for market value of nearby residents!
IMHO there has been somewhat of a price ceiling at 600K the last little while around here where only very large/executive type homes could get above this artificial barrier. This seems to indicate that your regular, “bigger than avg but not overly fancy” house on a 43 ‘ lot can now fetch North of 600K (well North once you equip the home with reasonable upgrades).

Spoke with the Harmony rep and prices on the website were updated this morning (right after I saw them, apparently) - there appears to be no price increase from October. The prices I quoted earlier included the premium lots and have since been removed...although premiums will still apply for some of the new lots.

Lottery for lot-picking order is happening at 10am so they can avoid lineups entirely this time around.

Tomorrow's lot release in Harmony

We have received interest in tomorrow's lot release at Harmony (Saturday, January 20th). For the safety of our customers, we want to avoid any lineups during winter conditions. Therefore, this sales release will be conducted through a lottery draw beginning at 10am. For those interested in purchasing a home, please arrive at the Barrhaven Sales Centre on Strandherd Drive between 9-9:30am to obtain a ballot for this draw.

Tomorrow's Harmony lot release will include new Townhomes and Single Family Homes. Pricing for available homes is now posted on the Harmony website.

I think that's a great way to handle it - by lottery. With such a demand, at least people won't have to freeze outside but those who would have been first in line now risk the possibility of missing out.

Dropped by sales office this afternoon. They sold out Townhouses and singles within an hour of opening.

I saw that there are still 3 move in soon homes at Quinn's point, wonder how come these have been there for a while & of course the prices are inching up..... There were 4 initially but one got sold I guess
