Default Glass balcony

I have been thinking about possibly replacing my small balcony of PVC railing with glass. I think it would open up the small space and look beautiful. Does anyone have any advice / tips / cost estimates? A Google search showed Centennial Glass as a provider - does anyone know anyone else?

Thanks!!

I love the look of a glass balcony. The lofts by Minto in Chapman Mills have these. Maybe you could ask them who their supplier is?

You can get these at the big orange. Several styles - think they are in $35 per foot range for the material. We have this at the cottage and only down size is condensation on the glass at night. They need a regular clean.

I love these, too. Hubs and I were walking around the stormwater pond at HMB looking at all the walk out decks and some people had the glass balconies. We fell in love. If we ever did a deck we'd definitely want to incorporate that into the design. You know, 5 million years down the road.

Having spent hours power washing the grime and water stains off of my folks glass deck railing this summer, I'd have second thoughts if I were doing it. Beautiful and gives such an open feeling, but what a pain that was. I suppose if you stay on top of it and don't have the massive railing they did...

There was a post not too long ago about how some home owners with glass showers use aquapel or something like that to keep their showers clean. Could probably do the same with the balcony glass.
