Default Kitchen Specs for Appliances

Hi everyone, recently purchased a fridge that is 36 wide x 72 height and was just wondering if anyone knew what the standard specs are for the opening of the appliances in the kitchen . Was wondering if builders typically charge when we provide them with different dimensions as well. Any info is appreciated! We haven't finalized our decor yet so we still have some time to gather more info

Standard specs depend on the builder but you should be ok if you haven't had your design appointment. You could just contact your builder and/or the design centre now to be sure.

Standard fridge opening is 30"
With a 36" fridge you will want 3/4" space all around for air flow. Check the install sheet to be sure and take that with you to your structural appointment.

That depends entirely on the builder and the house type. There is no single standard.

The builder will give you whatever it considers standard, but if you already know what fridge you intend to install, tell the builder and they can probably make the cabinets custom fit.
