Mattamy opened their Blackstone South community. Prices as per their website as of October 3, 2018 are:
32 ft double car garage ,single family homes priced between 438000 (1682 sq.ft) to 498000 (2524 sq.ft)
Townhomes priced between 374,000(1451 sq.ft) to 412000(1741 sq.ft)
Village homes priced between 285000(1258 sq.ft) to 350000(1850 sq.ft)
46 ft home prices unknown.

I don't see their famous 32 ft models Caspian, Galloway, Carthusian, Castillian etc in this release.

32' singles priced at almost HALF A MILLION for not much more than a town house lot size.

Different standards, incl. finished basement, energy star, etc.

Everyone has their preferences, and what they consider priority!

Why Yikes? Including finished basement and all standard upgrades it will still be cheaper with Mattamy and the lot size for this location is also slightly better. Buyers buy what they can afford.

All 32 ft singles are double car garages. The 32 ft and 46 ft are new models.

Which was a better buy of Mattamy-36 ft double car garage at Abbottsville crossing (420-480K) last year, 38 ft double car garage Traditions II , stittsville (440-510K)-last year or 32 ft double car garage Traditions II, stittsville (400-450K) -last year, 32 ft double car garage blackstone south(440-500K).
