usually they work through the winter but with down times based on snow/cold

certainly it is a lot slower if the ground is frozen down 5 or 6 feet

there is a full shutdown around xmas also

Default 2810 Cedarview Plan Reactivated

Noticed today on the city of Ottawa website that the Claridge development backing onto Strandherd Meadows Phase 5 has been reactivated (link below). There looks to be a nice court in the plan.

Still no sign of movement with Phase 5!

I did see that they finally received the certificate of approval from the Ontario government last week, hopefully we will see something starting soon. Last I heard from the sales rep they will be digging the pond over the winter.

Hi OttPH, question on Yarmouth that you are building. I calculated its size based on the floor plan and found it is only 3,2000 sqft, rather than 3,400 as suppose.

They do have a note at the bottom of the floor plans stating that open to above space is included in the square footage. So if you remove the open to above space then the numbers you ended up with makes sense. In my mind, that's the actual square footage.

While driving down Cedarview yesterday I noticed they put some new stakes in by the side of the road - freshly painted with orange paint. I'm hoping this is a good sign of some potential movement.

Saw some major movement in the feild today on my way to work. 4-5 Dump trucks backing in from Cedarview - could this finally be the start?
