![]() I searched like crazy and all I see is Acker. They are on the higher end of the quotes I got and would like to get your recommendations/referrals. I booked Amerispec but then saw on the forum that they got bad reviews??? |

I would go with acker and not the other company you mentioned. I used the other when i bought and my experience wasn't great.

I used Acker, can't complain about the price because I was paying for it. He was thorough I can tell you that, and punctual

I have to agree with everyone about Phil Acker. He was just here yesterday and did an amazing job! He found things that we would never have thought to check. Plus he gave us a little tutorial on home maintenance, which was awesome being a first time home buyer. Definitely worth EVERY penny.
As an aside, I called a number of inspectors i found on the CAHPI website. His pricing seemed to be in line with everyone elses. |

Amerispec screwed me over big time. I booked a tentative PDI walkthrough with them then when I called to confirm, I was told they were booked for weeks and couldn't do it. Called Phil and glad I took his recommendation not to have him for the PDI. He was able to spend a lot more time with us after the fact, prepping for the 30-day. He's really fantastic, as is his partner who helps out with the inspections.

I had Phil at my PDI and my one year. They were def worth the money and we would use them again in a heartbeat.
