I got a call from a Rogers Rep before moving in, maybe a few weeks before, offering some discounts on packages. I only needed internet (which was still at a reduced rate), but they had bundle cable bundle packages that were a lot cheaper then going directly through Rogers. The plans will likely only last a year or two, but better than nothing.

We got a great two year deal through Rogers. The Roger’s rep for Bradley Commons called us a few weeks before our closing. I don’t know whether Bell is offering similar packages to new clients. We were already a client with Bell and they couldn’t or wouldn’t come close to matching the Rogers deal. Our monthly costs are now almost 50% less for a virtually identical package and in addition we are getting several extra features.

What has peoples experience been with Richcraft after sale? We've been in the new home for almost a year and for the past 6 months we've been trying to have a repair done. They have come by several times and each time it is not completed - either they do not have the right color, the job is too much for 1 person to do, the patch work they suggest doesn't work etc etc.
For the most part we haven't had much of an issue with Richcraft but this one repair is taking over 6 months and starting to lose patience now.

I think it has to do with the trades as well as just general construction and competition right now. Our builder is Cardel and they've hired and fired so many contractors that we've barely kept up and are still trying to work on our 30 day list from 6 months ago.

For reference, we built with Monarch in 2015 in the same neighbourhood, and despite the horrible reputation (they were bought out my Mattamy), they actually had trades show up and complete things.

Contact the VP of construction and just continue to nag them. Don't miss any Tarion deadlines and make sure you book the conciliation. It's fully refundable anyways.

Hi all

Just wondering if you've received property taxes.
We moved March 2019 this is the first one. It's come in much lower than we had anticipated at around $500.
The MPAC that came in Nov 2019 assessed the property at $93k

I just got mine as well, took possession end of October 2019. It also came in at just under $500.
