Default New landlord. Need help please

Hi guys,

I just closed my investment property (a detached house from the builder) from a builder and want to rent it out.

Never acted as a landlord and not sure where to start. Is there any suggested standard application package i can send to interested parties and what is the standard (essential) documents to ask to submit with application? Like letter of employment, paystubs etc.

I already have few people interested and not sure where to start.

Please help.

Thx

When we first started, the lawyer's advice was that the most important step was the tenant screening.

This is a good place to start: https://www.tenantverification.ca/

You will need an application package and a lease agreement.
