I contacted SuperVacs today and asked if they'd be willing to provide pricing as they have done in the past. Will let you know when I hear back.

Im curious to hear pricing on these Honeywell/Electrolux systems as well.

Cardyvac told us a few weeks back that the best time to buy central vac's is usually around Easter as thats when they have their best prices/incentives to move the most amount of stock.

We are looking to get a central vac for a mid-august closing with install.

do we all have to live in the same neighbourhood or even same part of town?

I checked and there is a promo on the 4B-H850 currently. Anyone who is interested in a price please PM me. Not sure what the rules are on the forum surrounding selling and whatnot so I'll keep this to the PM.

Costco currently has the following Electrolux models on sale. The difference between the two models is one is listed as an "electric kit" and the other as an "air kit". I don't know much about central-vac systems, so can't tell if these are any good. Hopefully someone else can give us some insight.

Anyone interested in doing a group buy for those Honeywells? They look pretty decent.

I'm interested in any GB that takes place. I missed the last one.

SuperVacs hasn't gotten back to me yet, so if there's a good deal with those Honeywells, I'd definitely be interested.

I do hope that you hear back from SuperVacs. I've only heard very positive reviews about the Cana-Vac 399LS.

And although the Honeywell model does look pretty cool asthetically, I'm a little concerned that it is manufactured by Electrolux, given the whole "Beam is now owned by Electrolux and now manufacted in Mexico, which has put a hit on Beam quality" issue that I 've read about. Now I don't know if this issue also applies to Honeywell branded central-vacs manufactured by Electrolux, but it's just something that I've been thinking about. Take it with a grain of salt.

I admit the Honeywell ones do look pretty nice but the nicer looking ones are the ones recommended for larger homes. For example, the 4B-H850 is listed for a 10,000 sq ft home. A bit overkill for most of us I think.
