Grading is how the high and at what slope the ground will be. All I meant to say was if my lot ground elevation would cause the basement windows to be in wells then I wouldn't pay to upgrade the size. If my window would be above grade then I would consider it.

Grading of your lot will dictate whether or not a window well is needed. If the top of your basement walls are close to ground level then you have no choice but to accept window wells for larger basement windows.

Thanks for the clarification.

Default Lots are marked!

I just drove by the Tribute site on my way home and noticed the lots are marked with signs and the roads are paved so you can drive and see your lot!

I did go there a few days ago, and checked out my lot.
Liked what I saw!

Default Grading plans

Does anyone know when we can get access to the final grading plans for our lots? Do we go to the city or do we obtain from the builder?

I did get a letter or an email some time ago saying that it MAY be delayed.
I will be visiting the sales centre in the next few days, and will try to find out more.

I do know that for the ones who purchase now, they are offering the closing for the end of next year.
Hi Sage, did you end up finding any information about possible delays?

Sorry, but I haven't had a chance to go there as yet.

Will try and make it this week, and will update here if I manage to get any info.

You have to get this information from the builder. They will call you in for a structural meeting where you can go over all the options like increasing the window sizes, etc. This is what we have been told. We haven't had our meeting yet.
