Default sub-pump

Just wondering if anyone else has a coldcellar on Ellis and if so, is your sub-pump(I think I spelled that correctly) is inside it? Ours has been placed right in the middle of the already tiny cold cellar which we paid a lot of money for. If this is where it is supposed to be placed, shouldn't they have told me that before I decided to pay them for the cold cellar?
Any thoughts?

I am not sure if that's where it is supposed to be placed.. but I am sure there isn't a code against it. I have seen it placed there for many houses around the neighbourhood. If you can see an outlet into the sewer coming off the front porch, then the sump-pump is in the cold room.

Our sump-pump is NOT in the cold cellar, and is in the main part of the basement. Personally, I can understand why you would be annoyed if your cold cellar has been rendered somewhat unusable by this protrusion out of the middle of the floor.

Maybe you can get them to give back some of the cost of the cold cellar. Where would they have put it if you didn't get the cellar?

I guess that you guys are moving in tomorrow.

Stop by and say hello if you need a break in your unpacking. We have cold beer in the fridge!
