Default Braebury Referral Program - Anyone buying Braebury ?

There is a referral program with Braebury. If you are thinking of buying a Braebury home and we go to a sales office together I will get $500. I don't know if you are supposed to get anything but if you don't I'd split the $500 with you.

If anyone would like in on the referral program and get at least $250 then please PM me.

I believe that there are only two Braebury sites right now (Orleans and Kanata).

Thanks

Nice deal! That 500$ (or 250$) can pay for part of the stairs that Braebury don't put in front of the patio door!

Just to clarify, I did confirm with Braebury that they do provide the back patio steps.

I was concerned about this after reading some threads on here so I did ask.

Thank goodness for these forums...

The amount for the referral is $500. Please feel free to contact Braebury homes to confirm. I can also fax you the pamphlet with all the details.

I wonder if builders have an opportunity to complain to each other about us owners. I know that there must be some nasty owners out there . . . . we're not all angels

Well we've committed for the long haul with Braebury. Before committing we drove around the Orleans community where we knew Braebury built and asked several people who happened to be outside what they thought. The general concensus was that they were overall pleased with their experience.

We expect several bumps along the way as with any other company and hope that we don't have a nightmare experience......

In the development I'm looking at, Braebury wants $12500 for a corner lot that's no wider than a standard lot. They explain that this is for the extra brick. They also want $13/sq ft for 2 1/4" hardwood.

People considering buying from Braebury should review these recent decisions from Professional Engineers Ontario, in which PEO finds that Braebury has been building houses according to plans that do not meet Ontario Building Code standards. The president of Braebury, Peter Splinter, is a civil engineer, so it's hard to understand how this could happen.
