Hi all,

Curious if anyone on here has purchased in Fairwinds West by Mattamy? Wife and I are considering a 30' single (currently in a townhouse in fairwinds)

What bonuses did you get?
Did you get the design centre guide yet?

I don't know anyone who has purchased here yet but I did see the ad in the back of the Ottawa Sun, look to be a pretty nice community when completed.

I didn't expect Fairwinds to be such a big area, i know Mattamy had a number of phases for the original Fairwinds then they branched out to Fairwinds North and now Fairwinds West.

We did! We purchased the Parkside, on Eucalytus circle. Very excited but not looking forward to the wait.

We got the 15k in the design centre or off the purchase price, an additional 10k in the design centre and granite in the kitchen and hardwood on the main floor.

Congrats...but wow, did they ever push that closing date out. It usually takes between 4-6mths to build a home but they are selling looong in advance this time around!

Enjoy the experience but the 17mth wait is going to be killer!

Did you manage any of those bigger corner lots?

I'm already itching to get into our house....17 months will be challenging for sure. We did choose a large corner lot and we are stoked about it...finally A YARD (and a driveway that parks two cars)

Congrats! I'v always wanted the Parkside model but Mattamy does not offer it in Manahan landing.

Just curious, do they have any special saving homes like in other communities?

Bought lot 201 last night! December 10, 2015 closing date. So far...

If you think 17 mths is long, our closing date wait was/is 25 mths! We bought in June 2012. Lol

Those are some crazy incentives tho!

That's awesome, Pamekai! Did you ask for the hardwood too or was it already being offered?

Think we're pretty set on fw west just waiting for new lots to be released
