Default Lowered Prices on Mattamy Homes in HMB

Looks like Mattamy has removed their "$10-$15k Holiday Sale" promotion and have adjusted the base prices of their houses. My model dropped $8k. This is in HMB. Not sure about the other communities.

I wonder if they're still offering the $5k upgrade credits and standard appliances on the widelot townhomes?

So the house is selling for less than what we paid for it 1 1/2 years ago! That's terrible.

FW def. went down in price as well. I believe the Eastland was up at 218K or 220K last week.

Price of singles are down too for Mattamy in Fairwinds. The Oakriver is pretty much back to where it was when we signed in April 2007. Oh well. doesn't bode well for those trying to sell in Fairwinds right now.

Richcraft in Riverside South hasn't lowered prices. They are still offering the same signing bonus since Fall 2008. Its like $5000 for single home and $2500 for townhome.

I just got a msg back from mattamy that they aren't offering the 5k in upgrades anymore, but the prices have indeed dropped. the kitchen appliances are still included.

So, I'm out $3k then after factoring the $5k upgrade credit.

Trying to decide if we should borrow a bit of money and bite on a queencliffe corner... i think the 5k in upgrades would have sealed the deal, but right now we're still on the fence. got some drinking, err... thinking, to do!
