Have they ever cracked again?

Are they manufactured by Jeld-Wen?

My house isn't even delivered and four windows are cracked!

We have 4 cracked windows. Last one cracked last week but builder says that "spontaneous glass cracks" are only covered for first year. who expects to buy a new house and less than 2 years later have to pay to repair windows. i suspect the windows are either junk or not installed properly.

Mostly an installation issue.

Wow. So the saga with Urbandale and its windows continues. Can you reach out to the window supplier for warranty repairs?

Is the builder Urbandale? Then there's a group that formed to deal with the windows issues.
Urbandale is very aware of the problem.

Some Tarion rules and warranty coverage is sub-par and the cracked window rule is one of those poor rules. Making matters worse is that many builders use Jeld Wen whose Googles are poor. Most Jeld Wen reviews are one star with scathing comments. Competitors like Pella Windows on the other hand have 4.5 star ratings.

In this case it's Mason windows. Read their reviews. Everyone complains that the windows seal is bad and all have fogging issues. They replaced some of my windows just to get the same issues within months. One of the windows they replaced fogged 4 weeks after installation.

They tried to replace some of our windows with windows that were already fogging on the truck before they were installed!

One of my Jeldwen windows cracked and was told it was only covered for 1 year. I still haven't replaced it. Is there anyone else who had to get it repaired outside of warranty and who did you get to fix it? Or is Jeldwen the only option?
