This does not answer your question directly, but when my in-laws were looking at GGH, they were allowed to go to the decor center, before buying or signing any document and were provided with each every upgrade price based on their model which they were interested in.

granite (1st upgrade) was $5681 and silestone (2nd upgrade) was $6071.
If you're taking their "bonus" package, I'd put the money into the hardwood and do the countertops later. I found the granite/silestone selections to be slim and it's not as disruptive to replace countertops as it is to have hardwood installed. Patrob is 100% correct that the hardwood is also cheaper if you do it after closing but there's "convenience value" to you in getting it done by the builder too - you can plop your furniture on it on moving day and move onto the next room! ![]() |

Thank you for the info...and i;m considering to get the bonus package....the thing is the major upgrades are the ones about which i just inquired ...and still after doing that i;m leaving behind with almost 3k...so i;m thinking of getting under cabinet valance lights...well its not 100% but yes i;m considering bonus package as i'm really dun;t like my floors to be pulled out once i move in...so lets see... thnx for help....
