Approx. Estimate For Hardwood Floor From GGH?

Does any one know how much Great Gulf Homes charges for doing harwood floors in two areas on main level (11 by 20 and 11 by 17). Any approx. estimates from anyone who had dealt with GGH in past.

This does not answer your question directly, but when my in-laws were looking at GGH, they were allowed to go to the decor center, before buying or signing any document and were provided with each every upgrade price based on their model which they were interested in.

Those dimensions sound like the Middleham model and you're in luck since I have the price list from March '08.

for 3" strip (2nd upgrade), it was $3043 for the 11x20 room (dining room) and $1831 for the 11x17 (lower family room)

for 3 1/4" strip (Mirage), it was $3717 for 11x20 and $2340 for the 11x17

Thnx...alot for the info...appreciate it...by any chance ur price list tells about granite for the kitchen...

granite (1st upgrade) was $5681 and silestone (2nd upgrade) was $6071.

If you're taking their "bonus" package, I'd put the money into the hardwood and do the countertops later. I found the granite/silestone selections to be slim and it's not as disruptive to replace countertops as it is to have hardwood installed.

Patrob is 100% correct that the hardwood is also cheaper if you do it after closing but there's "convenience value" to you in getting it done by the builder too - you can plop your furniture on it on moving day and move onto the next room!

Sure it's easier, we all know paying for convenience is very expensive

Thank you for the info...and i;m considering to get the bonus package....the thing is the major upgrades are the ones about which i just inquired ...and still after doing that i;m leaving behind with almost 3k...so i;m thinking of getting under cabinet valance lights...well its not 100% but yes i;m considering bonus package as i'm really dun;t like my floors to be pulled out once i move in...so lets see...
