Default Induction cooktop

Has anyone purchased an induction cooktop recently (not a range)? Which did you go with? And where did you purchase it?

I was sure we were going to go with gas as usual, but now I am intrigued with the induction technology...

THanks!

We bought a Miele. The technology behind it is amazing. Here the link:

http://www.miele.ca/miele/canada/cook_ctops_km5993.asp

Price is pretty high as you can get it cheaper with an other brand. (KitchenAid, GE profile and Monogram, ...)

Pros:
- safety
- boiling speed
- 5 cooking zone (the biggest in the middle which was very important for us)
- style
- extended guarantee (5 or 10 years)

Cons:
- price (no room for negotiation on the price)
- need magnetic cookware (there is a special now that will give you a free cookware set)

Best place to get it is Universal Appliances.

Other things to consider:
- upgrade counter top to allow cooktop with builder
- upgrade electrical to 50 Amp (with builder or after closing)
- Miele tech installation is around $150

I have the 5-zone Miele as well. Love it, love it, LOVE IT! It's just so easy to get the heat just right and then keep it consistent, and the thing is so fast to react when you raise or lower the heat. We couldn't be happier that we went induction, and furthermore that we chose the Miele.
