Hi VolgaOwner,

Are you thinking for a fireplace? I'm in contact with one right now to do a cultured stone fireplace in our family room on closing. I actually got his name from another Alton Villager on this board. He hasn't done our work as of yet but I've spoken to him several times and seen his other work and he seems professional. Let me know if you'd like his contact info.

Gina

I ended up going with http://www.fireplacemakeover.net/

I initially found them through a kijiji web ad when I was looking for a mantle to go along with the brick resurfacing. I ended up getting the mantle and the fireplace for the same price as the mason I was talking to was going to do just the stone work.

They ended up doing it in 1 day, one very long day. Looks great and everyone loves it when coming into the home.
