Tamarack Ensuite Tub

Do any of you have the standard ensuite tub for Tamarack? We went into one of the model homes today and sat in it

Do you find it weird that when you're bathing alone, you can only use half of the tub? We found it rather uncomfortable...

If you upgraded the tub, what did you get instead?

I upgraded for a maax baccarat (I'm pretty sure the brand is maax, I'm sure about the model baccarat though)

I believe we have the standard ensuite tub, I don't recall upgrading it. It's maxx brand as well. We don't find it's small, fits both of us together anyways. When my wife is alone, she fits fine at 5'4".

What do you mean you can only use half the tub? Is it because of the back rest so to speak?

Yes, because the back rests are to the side (rather than being a full slant on the entire side), when you are alone in the tub you would have to sit to either side...It was a great size though, even for 2 people...

Well you can always bend your legs to the side if need be

Tamarack uses Maax Calla 60" tub, it is quite good for a standard tub

We actually loved it! I suppose I've only ever had crappy small bathtubs before this, but we tried it out it just seems so comfortable whether there is one person, or both in it. We weren't given any other options anyway though, without upgrading to jets, which we definitely did not want. This should suffice until we put in a spa in the back yard some day
