Hi Amaione,

Sorry for the late response. I had not logged in since moving to our house last September 2014.

Anyway, it is not necessary to get this upgrade. It just depends on what hood fan you're planning to put in your kitchen. If you do not get this upgrade, you will have cabinets that will hide the builder's fan above the stove area and you can not have the chimney hood type anymore without removing the cabinets above the stove. You only need to get this upgrade if you're thinking of getting a chimney hood rather than the standard hood fan. You have to specify during the structural appt that you're getting a chimney hood because if you tell them only during the decor appt, it will be too late already. You won't be able to get that upgrade anymore.

I hope this is not late yet for you.

Did anyone get the mist humidifier upgrade? If you don't get the mist humidifier upgrade, will there be some kind of humidifier (not mist) that's installed?

I got the mist humidifier upgrade but I don't know if this is what mist humidifier really looks like?

Thanks.

The humidifier upgrade is ridiculously overpriced. I just installed one for under $200 and it works awesome.

Hi DMS,
thanks for your response. Does this mean that if you don't get a mist humidiffer upgrade you don't have any humidifier from the builder at all?
thanks.

I would assume not.
They are a cheap purchase and easy install.

Default Dishwasher

Hey All!

Have any of you upgraded your dishwashers? If so, what sort of deal did you get? I want to upgrade to the Frigidair Gallery Dishwasher (reg. $699) and they are trying to charge me $400+tax for the upgrade when the one the package comes with is $499.

Default Traditional Townhouses

Looks like someone is trying to flip their townhouse who closes in March 2015. Are they really worth $380,000 now? Hope so! haha

Hey Tasha1235
Our original closing was schedule for August 2015 but we received a notice that we will be closing October 1st 2015 now. We are on Tabaret Crescent Block 26-4. What about you?

Hi, what is the standard size of the rear sliding doors for a detached home at Kingmeadow? 6 feet or 8 feet wide?
Thanks for your help!

Anyone move into a Harrington willing to share some photos? I'm anxious to see what it looks like. I saw photos on kijiji but the units are empty. I can pm my email. Thanks!
