The crappy carpet installation they did has not been fixed.... to top it all off we not have a leak in our kitchen which has turned the wall into mush.... it extends all the way down stairs into our hall closet and a full on drip in the ceiling.

I'm so frustrated with Mattamy the I just want to cry...

I'm not sure why we haven't all gotten together and done something about this. The Ottawa Citizen, Mike Holmes, The Sun & All Orleans News Papers.... would love to hear about this. I'm sure Mattamy would also hate to have even more bad publicity right before they launch out in Orleans.

Maybe it will give them a push to get their act together and fix some of these problems... at this point they shouldn't only be fixing the problems they should be compensating us.

If anyone is interested in submitting a story PM me.
Have you tried moving up the ladder a little. I've had good success by asking customer care for the contact information of the person above the person i've been dealing with. So for example when i had an issue that the warranty office was unable to handle i asked for his boss/managers information and was able to get my issue addressed.

It seems upper management do want a happy customer lower employees have a hard time getting things done and dealing with trades, etc.

Does anyone else find that the workers sometimes come into the house and leave the lights on in broad daylight?? I

Happened to me for the second time yesterday. Needless to say, I was not impressed and made sure to let them know about it too. I don't need you to add to my bills thanks!

Default lights on

it happened once when painters came into my place while i was home they left the vanity lights on in my main bathroom and the hall way lights on, they are wastefull, and i made sure i turned my outside plugs off since it took the (pdecking) 2.5 months to finish my ****ty deck. after seeing how that deck was built i don't recomend anyone hiring them to build a deck for you..the ****ty craftsmanship done on those decks i can probaly do better...or just put it on my 100 days list and tell them to rip it out and do it again...(front porch also)

Very exciting!

Take lots of pictures! The Fernwater End is what we would have bought had we gone with Mattamy.

I can't believe she lasted that long. Can you imagine how grueling her job must have been, to be yelled at all day long? She could definitely hold her own, but still.

I believe warranty office is in the hot pot after closing day. I have not reached K for long time. Sad to know she left. But, yeah, glad to see she is not working for Mattamy.

Sorry, I'm budding in on this thread... but K mentioned to me a week ago that she got a job offer in High Tech, where she worked 10 years ago. It was more suited for her and her family at this time apparently. Just an FYI....
