Default Minto Chapman Mills next phase for singles

Few questions here:

I was verbally informed by the sales staff that the next phase for the singles will be Aug 21st. Did anybody get the same info? With the sales centre moved to Clearbrook, where would be the single models home be located - across the street?

I have chosen the Turner house to purchase but just waiting for the properties to be released. And the price has increased from $349,900 to $355,900 , I'm just hoping they don't increase it again when the phase opens up.

With the new singles being built, I notice that most of the double driveways can only fit 2 cars side to side. The older homes in CM are able to fit 4 cars tightly (without the sidewalks). Anybody experience this?

Peace

I didn't hear anythng as we have already purchaced but the sales people should be able to tell you everything you need to know - they are also well aware of when price increases are going to occour so you can probably find this out too if you press them.

The new single models being built on Clearbrook right across from the new townhouse models. One of them looks like it could be a Turner....

I'm pretty sure the lenght of your driveway will depend on the size of your lot and the position of your house on the lot - again this is information that the sales agents should be able to give you at the sales center.

Good luck...

You mean to say that no townhomes, and singles under 3000sq/ft are being built anymore? I'll have to talk to the sales centre to confirm this.

I don't know for sure, just going on what someone posted...

I'm sure the next phase will have all singles for sale

I do know that they are releasing five lot's with only bigger homes to be built on them.

Let us know what you get from them, and what info you get on price increase.
The word is that there is a significant price increase...coming...

By next phase I think you really mean the next release of lots. If so then yes they could be all for larger homes - the crescent below ours is all "luxe" lots and the smallest luxe comes in around 3000 qft does it not? HOWEVER they will definately be building more singles from all the lines. I know for sure that our street as lots yet to be released and they are are for the 2000-3000 sqft homes. Also, the street behind us has tons of open lots for the smaller single car garrage homes. Minto releases lots in groups of about ten but there is pleanty more room in CM - they are years away from building the last of any home.

If you are seriously interested in purchacing talk to a sales agent (Mike is good) they will help you with regards to release dates and closing dates.

Biggie is right;
Mike is good and so is Diba. We dealt with both. They are very informed and extremely helpful. They will let you know when the exact release dates are for an available lot for your Turner. They will also hint and tell you if there is a price increase (but you must ask...otherwise they won't offer this information).
The best way to get all information we found was to go directly to the sales center.

There is still ALOT of land and homes to be built...singles, townhomes ect...

Let us know what info you get...
(we love to know what's happening in our neighbourhood )

New Information:
The new release is set for Monday, August 20th...
It will be done by lottery system due to the overwhelming demand.
There is also a significant (as I mentioned before) price increase.

Just got back from the sales centre and the lottery starts this Tues 21st. I posted this thread on the 13th and model Turner was priced from $349,900 to $355,900 and I,m now quoted at $361,900. WTF That's $12,000 increase!!!

There are 12 lots (New-Liskard) available for the Signature Classics out for grabs on Tues and I'm quite sure it won't last long. Sales guy was funny, I was told not to bother camping out on the property to reserve it.

I'll keep ya's posted on what happens.

The new model homes in Chapman Mills will not include a Turner model. The Turner will be built in Morgans Grant..just a heads up..
