Grass coming?

Hello all,

We live on Andrews trail. I'm just wondering if anyone knows when we can expect to get grass put in? Spring is in the air and wouldn't it be great to cover up all that dirt?

depending on the builder you can call and ask. If it's falconcrest we should be getting it by the end of April mid may.

I heard it second hand but also confirmed this after running into our site super at a grocery store las weekend.

Sidewalks will start to go in next week (i.e. after the long weekend), followed by the first coat of driveway asphalt, followed by topsoil and sod. The entire division should be done everything by the end of June.

Our Falconcrest purchase agreement states a "base coat only" of asphalt. Does this mean we need to arrange the final coat ourselves or do most builders now put the top coat on anyway??? Just wondering.

Hey Carter, base coat only. you don't want both coats to be put now anyway. this is the time your driveway will settle and dip. wait until they complete the final road paving and get them to use road grade ashphalt on your driveway. It will last 4 x longer the regular ashphalt. And I believe the lay the sod first then the drive way.

Now don't quote me on this but I was speaking with Pat a couple of weeks ago and I was told that there would be a bit of delay on the driveway being done...at least on Faloncrest Homes. Apparently they will be putting the grass in first which from my understanding is kinda backwards. However the good news is the grass "SHOULD" be in either by the end of this week or the week after. I hope this helps and is actually accurate info that I've been given...
