Thumbs down Century Grove Homes

We bought the home from Century Grove in May and did the initial PDI in early May. Itís July and 90% of the stuff on PDI is not complete. The major thing is that the steps are missing from our deck in back. At the time of initial PDI supervisor promised to put the steps as we have three year old child. We have been following up with the site supervisor but responses are ...it will be done and do not call me anymore. Our son fell from the deck yesterday, fortunately he did not get hurt but we are disappointed as it is a safety issue.
Our experience is that the post sales service with this builder is very very poor. Site supervisor is extremely unprofessional and rude. I will never recommend and buy a home from this builder again.

have you requested a conciliation inspection from Tarion yet? your pdi, 30 day and 1 year forms are pretty much useless unless you get Tarion to schedule an inspection.

yikes.... i just bought a house from cent. grove in Vaughn... i move in Aug 13, and now i am scared.

We have been visiting the house usually 4 times a week, to take a look at the progress. Whenever we find something, we call the sales rep, who calls the site super, and the problem is usually fixed in a few days....

the thing that bugs me is that i have to keep going through the sales rep, who is actually a real estate agent for Home Life... Does anyone know a direct number to cent groves real cust service? or any way to get in touch with site supers directly?
But still scared now for post sale service...

Unless you involve Tarion, there is no official record of any of the issues with your home. Please make sure you update Tarion on the status of your outstanding issues otherwise they will expire.

As always, if you have issues with the construction of your home, please consult your builder, Tarion and your lawyer. These are the only people who can deal with the problems of your home.
