Default Decora goes bankrupt

Decora was the window supplier for most of the phases in Wheeler's Mill and others.

Wow! Came to find this out the hard way. Two of our windows have broken seals and condensation keeps building between the outer and inner glass. Now we have no alternate?!?!

I got one of those huge towngate kitchen sliders. Seal broke nicely so it's got a funky frosted interior pattern now. As do a couple of the windows around the house.

Crappy product.

the large sliding patio doors are from another company, Sunview, if I remember correctly. They're covered by warranty (10 years?), but you have to pay for labour (or you could pick up a new door and replace it yourself)

Do you have details on how to do this? (get the replacement - who to contact etc)?

call sunview and ask to talk to someone about warranty replacement. They'll look up your builder/lot number. They should have a floorplan with the window dimensions, but you should probably have the measurements handy.

I have to give my date of manufacture (from the door) to determine which type I have....mattamy will arrange the replacement if it's one that's covered.
