Default Companies the Dig and Set Fence Posts

Can anyone recommend companies that give good prices (and service) for digging and setting fence posts?

We received a quote from Fence All to dig the holes and drop off the rest of the equipment to do ourselves (around $4200 for a pretty small backyard). It wasn't to bad a quote compared to others, but still really surprising how expensive it is to have a fence installed.

wow that is crazy. my backyard is 20 x 50 and it cost me 1200 in materials with the holes done by a company. board on board with 2x6 instead of 2x4's. keep in mind the first 16 foot on each side was done by the builder and i just extended what they did and added the rear section. but still not close to 4200.

that's the thing he only charged $ 10 a hole but can't find his info anymore. Someone else from the board asked me for the info too. He even cleared the dirt from the holes. I have been keeping my eyes open in my neighbourhood to see if i see his truck. But no luck yet. The survey was already done since the builder did the first 2 fence panels.

Try Perfect Posthole. I want to say that he charged us $35 a hole to dig with an auger and to set in concrete (includes concrete but you provide the posts) but I can't remember 100%. It was more if they had to hand dig (i,e, if they hit rock, etc,) Regardless, they did an awesome job. We've gone through 1 winter and saw a bit of movement in one post near the end of the winter (when the post near the house thawed out before the one between the houses, I think) but it all straightened out in the end.

Did you have to buy the concrete too or did the $35 include the concrete. If so, thats a great price!

Was it the folks from perfectpost.com or perfectposthole.ca that installed your posts ? Seems to be several listing for perfect post hole.

I plan to have the posts done and do the remaining fencing with a couple of my neighbours who are handy. After being in my place for the 2nd season it's now time for fencing

Bumping an old thread!

Anyone recommend a company for digging and installing posts? I think we're going to order panels and install ourselves.
