It doesn't aim at the house or even offer that much light, but the dull glow outside my window is irritating. Wouldn't the pot lights be the same?

Just a question, not a shot at anyone who likes pot lights.
A lightbulb just went on over my head (pardon the pun ) By having the 2nd floor lights on a switch, you can control whether they're on or off. That actually makes more sense than having them on the photocell like the garage pots.

That would definitely fix my issue - then again there's the walking downstairs in my PJ's grumbling about being ))*@@ and not turning them off before I sent to bed - hahaha

And they will last longer so you won't have to climb up onto your roof to change the light bulb so often.

Brian, have you had to change your energy efficient long-life garage pot lights yet? Both of mine have expired already! New definition of long-life: 6 months.

No, I think I'm approaching six months as they've been installed since way before closing.
