Default Fire At The Framing Stage

What effect - if any - does a fire have on the foundation of the house while at the framing stage?

it needs to be assessed by an engineer - sometimes they are fine, sometimes they need to be replaced - depends on amount of heat I guess

Speaking from experience....

If the fire happened and there was/is wood inside, first all it would need ot be sprayed with some sort of shellack they use to seal in the wood and remove the fire smell, it's a white substance it will be sprayed everywhere.

Second, depending on how extensive the damage ( ie, damage to the tresses in the roof or main wood beams). If anything has effected the structural integrated or damaged these, you will need a structural engineer to survey the damage.

Third, if it was an elelectrical problem that cause the fire, I would highly recommend getting an electrical engineer out, as well as the City Inspector.
