Have you passed by their newly built model home at Mantle & 10th line?
It's not yet finished but very close. My friend who works as an agent told me their freehold townhouses will start anywhere from $380k and up. No idea where he got this inside news from but I think its quite possible considering all the resale value in the community has gone up quite a bit.

If your figures are correct...then wow

It's becoming very difficult for people to get into the market if a starter home goes for 380k.

Hi Squib, yeah you are absolutely right, very difficult indeed.

My co-worker, a young couple rather, been searching for their first home for months. For a budget of $300k - $350k, you can probably get yourself a 1 bedroom condo with some higher end finishes in Markham or a really old (30 yrs of age?!) fixer-upper townhouse in Scarborough for roughly the same amount of money.

However, every time they put an offer in, they got outbid, in numerous occasions. That's how crazy it is even since the big banks post their warnings on the market couple weeks ago.

The newly built detached model is located at the south east corner of the roundabout. You'll see a huge Starlane "Bluesky" advertisement sign right besides it.

Checked out starlane's website mentions they going to release 50 & 60 foot lots!, wonder how much it would go for.

How big does a 60 foot lot house look?, anyone have pics

Anyone know the EXACT OPENING DATE???

Thanks!

If you got a 40 foot lot, imagine 20 more feet. If you got a 50 foot lot, imagine 10 more feet. Google images is your friend - 60 foot lot homes.

I think you got a 100 foot lot, so imagine 40 feet less.

I would go with bare minimum if the intention is to rent. I mean nothing incremental except perhaps stained stairs.

Selvi, how do you think that anyone would have acess to any of this if the builder has not released it's new phase yet? I'm sorry, but do you think before asking your questions sometimes? It seems you have a need to keep adding posts and threads everywhere and whether or not they make sense or are useful is your last concern.
