Lightbulb Has anyone purchased the EAMES? (Emery Homes)

Hi There!

I was wondering if anyone purchased the EAMES, and how the building process is going?

I had a concern at the Decor Centre that the there is not enough room for the "fridge door" to open without hitting the Island... and I have walked through a model that is framed and it looks like there is about 1-2 ft clearance.

Does anyone else have this same concern? I don't know who I should get into contact with to fix this if it is an error...

Thanks!

Hi There,
We bought the Eames as well and noticed the same thing. We were surprised on how close the island was.

I am sure it will be fine, my current home and new one have a small 2.5 foot clearance which is more than enough room. It may look small, but I doubt it will be in the way.

Default reply from the decor center...

Here is thier response:

"I have discussed your concern with the head office and with the kitchen company and they both confirmed what I have told you - that there is going to be enough space to open the fridge door and that you should not have any problems fitting the fridge into enclosure. They both agree that french door fridge would definitely work better if you choose to purchase it. Hope this helps."

I sure hope it fits...
