Default Window well problem:surrounding soil subs. How to fix it?

Window well problem:surrounding soil subsidence.

The original Window well metal enclosure is tightly attached to the cement wall, but now, found the upper enclosure is separated from the wall, nails were breaking loose.

Chunks of sand inside the window well also apparent downward
Feeling is surrounding soil subsidence.

Does any one know How to fix it? advise is expected and very appreciated!
