I bought end of 2016, and I received the same notice - additional $1,120!

I emailed the guy from the city to inquire last week, and he hasn’t replied.

Does anybody have any more info regarding this?

With limited or no info on this tax either online or with the city, I thought it was strange as I have never encountered this with other Municipalities before.
