Maybe it's me, but whether they are very busy or not, if you are selling new homes approaching and over $500,000 you should probably have enough staff on hand to reply to a few emails ASAP.

Hi all,

I dropped by EQ at Fernbank Crossing this morning and was told that there were no more 42' lots available at this time (last two 42' lots are on hold). They also confirmed that 35' homes were being built on 42' lots for no additional premiums.

I didn't ask about the 50' lots but overheard that there were still a few available.

We just recently signed on to have our house built by EQ. We were on the fence between them or Phoenix. We did some digging about and decided EQ was the best fit for us (despite phoenix being a slight bit cheaper). It is hard to find allot of chatter online about EQ but understand them to be very a very good, stable builder. If I remember to check back (or if I can be of any help) I will share anything I learn along the way.

That's great. What model are you building? I see that they built the same elevation of The Riviera side-by-side. I hope that isn't a common practice.

When we purchased we were told that it was possible to build the same house side by side but not the same elevation. So, when our neighbour signed right before us, they took that elevation (for the same model 'Blackburn') off the table. They notified us that we would not be able to purchase that elevation on our lot... but it wasn't the elevation we were interested in anyway. We won't be able to choose the same exterior package either... but again, they have several packages so I'm not sure it is an issue. Many of their plots that have bungalows on them have joining lots that are bungalow only beside them as well (the plots with a Star beside them are bungalow plots). Maybe someone made a mistake when they built the same elevation side by side (woops! someone might get their hand slapped lol

The last phase of EQ townhoumes went very fast. I understand the new phase of townhomes is coming up soon. They still don't have pricing on their site. I will like to hear about pricing information from anyone who bought in the last phase. Thanks!
