Default Any news on EQ Provence in Orleans

Does anyone know when the EQ home development in Orleans is set to launch (or insight on what the prices will be like)?

Work has started at the site. Looks like at least one basement has been poured. Most likely for the sales centre.

I have no idea on prices. I am expecting them to be slightly less than Fernbank, but time will tell.

Drove by the site on the weekend. The roof is on what is obviously going to be the sales centre. No doors or windows yet.

I noticed windows and doors are now installed. Also, I received an e-mail from Eq Homes Provence announcing the Blackburn model this fall; I think what we thought will be the sales centre is probably the Blackburn model.

I'm reading the site plan right now and looks like Phase I will be at a different location as the sales centre.

Does anyone know what "Transit" on the map means? Lots on the north side backing onto a future Transitway?

Just reserved a lot there. The green dots are actually not available. They are only selling the lots without dots. I went to the site and didn't see any high voltage hydro corridor though.

Also: if anyone is looking to buy and wants referral bonus, feel free to contact me.

The sales centre isn't near Phase One or any subsequent phases. The land behind Phase 1 is reserved for a future transit route.

More info on the development can be found here: https://app01.ottawa.ca/postingplans...appId=__A6MAWF

Check out the Concept Plan or the Draft Plan of Subdivision and it clearly shows the Transit Way that will run next to the community off Trim and off Aquaview Drive.

Phase 1 is great if you wish to be near a school. Lots of schools on Portobello and the construction should be over fairly quickly. The cons is you will be in an area of older homes and Portobello itself is a pain to drive through. With all the schools there are lots of lights and intersections and with the reduced speed, you simply have to accept it is slow moving.
