Default Floor Runners for Moving

I know there was a thread a while back with links to runners to protect flooring when moving.

Anyone have a link for me? I'm moving tomorrow....so would like to get something to protect the hardwood floors when coming in and out with stuff.

Most moving companies/truck rental businesses will have them (hertz, uhaul, budget, etc.)

I'm not hiring anyone to move my stuff...renting a truck...would rather just buy some as it will probably cost me the same as renting anyways.

We bought a roll of thick paper from the flooring section that did the trick.

forget the rate, but it was cheap enough and well worth it.

EDIT: Found the bill. $3/day per and was worth every penny. We ran them up the stairs and down the halls to the rooms. The movers were very good, we just wanted to avoid accidents or stains. There also waterproof so if its wet outside will protect your hardwood.

That's what I meant...the runners are located inside the stores with all the other supplies. You don't need to rent a truck to purchase moving equipment like runners, boxes, tape, wrap, etc.

Every once in awhile, Princess Auto will sell moving blankets cheap. My parents picked some up and we benefited.
